BUFFALO 90S ZINE
This project is an experimental design take on magazine layouts. The market for this zine is people in my generation that yearn for a “better time.” Paying accurate homage to different styles of 1990s photography and graphic design was very important to me through this process. Buffalo Zine is an existing indie magazine company based in London, and this is my own issue that they would release. They stick to different themes/styles for each monthly release, and this issue fits well into that. The content talks a lot about why humans are drawn to nostalgic things, and what makes the ‘90s so dream-like for people that may not have even lived through it.
